As soon as you create a layer mask, it acts on the image. The command allows you to suspend this action. When you click on the menu entry, a check is displayed next to it and the border of the layer mask's thumbnail in the Layers Dialog turns red.
You can access this command from the main menu through → → ,
ou en maintenant l’appui sur la touche Alt (Ctrl+Alt sur certains systèmes) et en cliquant une fois sur la vignette du masque de calque dans la fenêtre du Dialogue des calques.
Vous pouvez annuler cette action en décochant l’option dans le sous-menu Calque/Masque ou en (Ctrl)Alt-cliquant à nouveau sur la vignette du masque de calque.
