El filtro pixelizar representa la imagen usando grandes bloques de color. Es muy parecido al efecto visto sobre la televisión cuando se oscurece el rostro de una persona para preservar su anonimato. Se usa en el “efecto Abraham Lincoln”: consulte la [BACH04].

There are three Shape choices: Diamond, Round and Square (the default). Diamond and Round shapes will only be visible when you lower Size Ratio X/Y to about 0.6 (Diamond) or 0.5 (Round).

By default, width and height are linked, indicated by the
chain symbol next to the input boxes. If you want to set width and
height separately, click on that chain symbol to unlink them.
Relación de tamaño horizontal/vertical (0.000-1.000) de un píxel dentro de un bloque. El valor predeterminado es 1.000. El número de bloques se mantiene igual; por tanto, si cambia la proporción, el tamaño del bloque cambia y los píxeles que faltan se reemplazan con el color de fondo.

Default background is that of toolbox. You can change it by clicking on color source, which opens a color selection dialog, or picking a color using the color picker on the right.
Note that you can change the background color to be partially or completely transparent by lowering the alpha value in the color selection dialog. This can lead to interesting effects provided the layer you are working on has an alpha channel.
