7.4. Foutconsole
	7. Diverse dialogen

De Error console biedt meer mogelijkheden dan het enkele “GIMP Bericht”. Dit is een logboek van alle fouten die optreden terwijl GIMP wordt uitgevoerd. U kunt dit hele logboek of een geselecteerd deel ervan opslaan.

7.4.1. Het dialoogvenster activeren

Dit dialoogvenster is een dokbaar dialoogvenster; zie het gedeelte Paragraaf 2.3, “Koppelen van dialoogvensters” voor hulp bij het manipuleren ervan.

U kunt het openen:

from the main menu: Windows → Dockable Dialogs → Error Console;
in het menu Tab in een dokbaar dialoogvenster door op te klikken en Tab toevoegen → Foutconsole te selecteren.

Foutconsole wissen

Met deze knop verwijdert u alle fouten uit het logboek.

	Waarschuwing
	U kunt deze actie niet “ongedaan maken”.

Alle foutmeldingen opslaan

This button lets you save the error log to a file. A dialog window lets you choose the name and the destination directory of the error log file. See Paragraaf 5.3, “Bestand opslaan” for more information on saving files.

You can also select a part of the log (by click-and-dragging the mouse pointer or by using the Shift+arrow keys key combination) and save only this selected part by pressing the Shift key while pressing the button.

	Tip
	U vindt deze knopacties ook in het menu van het tab menu van het dialoogvenster door op te klikken, of in het contextmenu dat u krijgt door met de rechtermuisknop op het dialoogvenster te klikken.

7.4.3. The “Error Console” context menu

Besides the functions mentioned above using the buttons, the context menu has the following additional actions. You can access the context menu by right clicking in the error console.

Select All: This command allows you to select all the messages in the log.

Highlight: This command allows you to change which kind of messages will highlight the error console. You can enable or disable the following three kinds of messages: Errors, Warnings, and Messages.
